FAQ - Or what we expect people might ask since this is a first time event....
Q: What is the dye made of? Will it ruin my clothes?

A: The dye is homemade, vegetable extract and flour based powder. We will have a list of ingredients on-site, if you have concerns about allergies. Wear white (or put on your HCDS Trot Tee) and get ready to be covered up in rainbow colors! Bring a towel and a trashbag... Have your car prepared as if you were taking kids to a swimming pool. You won't be wet, but you will be messy. That's why it's so much fun!

​Q: Should I bring cash?

​A: We'll have lots of extra fun things to do for the whole family... be sure to bring some spending money.

Q: I'm not a runner... can I still participate in the 5K?

A: Runners, walkers, joggers, skippers, gallopers.... everyone's welcome! This is not just a race, it's a fun-time experience that you will never forget!
Q: Do I have to be a registered racer to participate in the "tie-dye" portion of the event?

A: If you come to watch, plan to throw some color at the runners and party in the rainbow clouds!​ (See "Should I bring cash?")

​Q: Can I come and not get messy?
​A: We'd rather not make any promises, but we won't call you a party-pooper... and we'll do our best to keep you out of the "tie-dye" zone!​



Q: Will my white clothes keep their tie-dyed appearance?

A: They'll need to be treated with white vinegar to hold in that color... We'll have some on hand if you'd like to use it.
